In 2005, OPN completed a comprehensive master plan of our campus that addressed vehicular and pedestrian traffic concerns, analyzed our current facilities and their usage patterns, outlined a strategy for future construction and remodeling projects to satisfy the college’s strategic growth plan. The master plan became the road map for a 27 million dollar bond referendum. The progressive suggestions on facilities usage changed our plans to add onto our primary facility, allowing other projects to receive focus and funding. In retrospect, this moment transformed our campus.
