Brian Lane, a Project Manager with OPN, was a session speaker at the Construction Owners Association of America’s Leadership Conference held October 30 – November 1 in La Jolla, California. The session, “Collaboration in a Constrained Environment” focused on Iowa’s choice of project delivery methods in using Construction Managers from the beginning of projects. The session speakers also included Charlee Cross representing the State of Iowa, and Brandon Schulte representing DCI Group. This group demonstrated their collaborative experience working with the State on the Iowa Veterans Home renovation in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Brian Lane is a 1995 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. With over seventeen years of practice in architecture, Lane has extensive experience in the management, design, development, and construction administration of a wide range of projects. As a Project Manager at OPN, Lane has overseen projects for Biaggi’s restaurants, major corporate clients, aircraft hangars, mixed use development, K-12 schools, and housing projects. Lane continues to explore design issues as they relate to constructability and design exploration in a collaborative studio environment.
