Abby Nelson received a bachelor of science in design in 2018 and is now working toward her master of architecture (2020) at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Abby is a music junkie and loves discovering new music.
Colton Howell will graduate in spring 2019 with a degree in architecture and a minor in sustainability from Iowa State University. Aside from his studies, Colton has traveled to Jamaica and Dominican Republic for mission trips.
Hasan Shurrab joins OPN for an extended, one-year, internship. Hasan worked as a teachers assistant at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Palestine. He is involved in many organizations and was a board member of Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts.
Rylee Higgins just wrapped up her fourth year at Iowa State University with plans to graduate with a bachelor of architecture in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys riding motorcycles.
Erin Copeland received her bachelor of business administration in 2015 and is expected to graduate with a master of architecture in 2019. She works for the department of architecture at Iowa State and is heavily involved with organizing their public programs.
Leigha Duckett, a native of Johnston, studies at Iowa State University and is expected to graduate with a bachelor of architecture (2021). Her previous experience includes Reiman Gardens Design Build Pavilion, Kids Living Brave, and AHeinz57.
Madeline Bany, a Cedar Rapids native, is expected to graduate Spring 2020 with a bachelor degree in architecture. She was awarded BWBR Prize Finalist Spring 2018 and is an active Iowa State Design Ambassador and peer mentor for first-year students in the design program.
Hsu (Edward) Fang, a student at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is expected to receive his bachelors degree in 2020. Edward is from Taipei, Taiwan and was in Taiwan’s military for four months.
