ISU Biorenewables Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Congratulations to Iowa State University! The ribbon cutting ceremony for our collaborative work with ZGF Architects will commence this afternoon. The ceremony marks the official completion of the Biorenewables Complex, a two-phase project including both the Biorenewables Research Laboratory (BRL) and the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) facility. The complex houses 50 research and teaching laboratories designed to investigate biorenewable resources (plants and crops that can be used to produce fuels, chemicals, materials and energy). The new facility includes 220,000 gross square feet of laboratories, classrooms, offices, a green roof, and a central atrium with a unique art installation titled “Floating World” by Ralph Helmick.
