OPN Architects, Inc. is an award-winning Midwest design firm with a diverse practice. We have offices in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa and Madison, Wisconsin. Our current projects include a major performing arts building, public libraries, research and laboratory space, academic buildings, K-12 schools and planning projects for a wide range of clients. We have a robust internship program with student designers working in the studio over the course of the year.

 

Architects & Architectural Interns
OPN is currently seeking talented Architects and Architectural Interns to join our dynamic team in both our Des Moines and Cedar Rapids offices. The ideal candidate will have an architectural degree and 1-8 years experience.

Our open studio environment nurtures excellence and rewards professional growth. Our collaborative approach to architecture requires that you work well with others and consistently build strong relationships with teammates and clients. The right person for our studio will have a balanced skill set including design, building technologies, Revit and 3D-modeling experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on projects from design through construction, communicate effectively, and work both independently and within a team.

A professional degree, experience, and a strong portfolio is required. We are looking for the right fit. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Interior Designer
OPN is currently seeking talented Interior Designers to join our dynamic team in our Cedar Rapids and Des Moines offices. The ideal candidate will have an interior design degree and a minimum of 2 years experience. Experience in an architectural design firm is a plus.

Our open studio environment nurtures excellence and rewards professional growth. Our collaborative approach to architecture requires that you work well with others and consistently build strong relationships with teammates and clients. The right person for our studio will have a balanced skill set including: Revit and various rendering software, understanding of programming and space planning, construction documents, lighting design, interior building materials, furniture specifications, etc.

A professional degree, experience, and a strong portfolio are required. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
