Kelly Slota

Prior to OPN, Kelly Slota spent 17 years as an estimator and project manager in the door, frame, and hardware industry. In that role, Kelly worked with general contractors estimating specifications and offering value engineered alternates, always balancing quality and budget. Kelly has worked on projects across all market types, including many educational environments. She understands the wear and tear a learning facility must withstand. She brings a passion for fine points and takes great pride in seeing even the smallest piece of hardware executed as it was intended.

Q: What do you like about your industry?

A: The permanency. I feel that the greatest reward is to see a finished project and know that I had a hand in it.

Q: Which phase of a project is your favorite?

A:  Structural steel. I love to see the skeleton take shape and envision the remaining design resting on it.
